I’d like to add the Cobalt to this list. I wish I could put my dad’s Cobalt on a set of railroad ties and shoot at it with a mini gun from then freight engine I was about to annihilate it with.

My former neighbors had a very nice 2008 Lucerne with the Northstar. I remember 0-60 runs in the 6 second range. And it was so smooth.

A nice body kit, some Recaros, and what was at one time the fastest Nurburgring time for a FWD car do a pretty decent job of at least hiding them..

I’m not trying to rag on the SS cars. They had some fine pedigree for what they were. A shame we don’t have more cars like them where the sporty version is actually wayyy more than just cooler wheels and a wing.

hey now this isn’t as awful as you’d think.

On the one hand, a loaded $60,000 2011 version is actually a nice car. On the other hand, $60,000 worth of loaded up anything from 2011 ought to be even nicer.

I really want to like the new Camaro. It’s lighter, nimbler, and has a great engine line up. It even looks halfway decent and sounds good.

But I really wish they had done something to improve the visibility over the last generation. Not being able to see out of a “driver’s car” is completely unacceptable.

I actually really like everything behind the headlights. The side sculpting, greenhouse, and rear all work well.
